1 c. butter, softened 3-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 t. almond extract 1/4 t. vanilla extract 2 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 c. almonds, finely chopped
Beat together butter and cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until well combined. Add sugar, almond extract and vanilla; mix well. Stir in flour. Cover and chill dough for 30 minutes, or until easy to handle. Place dough in a cookie press. Press out cookies onto ungreased baking sheets; sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to
10 minutes, until edges of cookies are golden. Remove to wire racks to cool. Makes 5 dozen.
