I'm never disappointed by Gooseberry Patch. This book is filled w/ easy, yet scrumptious soups, salads and sammies. There are so many I want to try I can't even begin to list them. The Peppy 4-Bean Salad is something I know I'll be making again and again this summer! Great job, Goosberry Patch!

Just received 101 Soups, Salads & Sandwiches in the mail and I love it! I am so ready for summer for the cold foods but making the soups and sandwiches on these cold Wisconsin nights when our family wants something warm and comforting. Love the Creamy Chicken & Wild Rice and the Honey BBQ Pork. All the recipes take very little time but have big flavor and love in them! Enjoy!!

I love the traditional Gooseberry Patch books with the fun illustrations and plastic combbinding, so I hadn't ever purchased a 101 Recipe Series book to that point -- I have corrected that error. These are gorgeous, full-color, spiral bound treasures. Not only have I caught my collection up but have found occasion to give these as well-received gifts. In a world where fast food is a life style, I am so happy to see a cook book out there that goes back to basics. We're never more satisfied with a meal then when we can make it together and eat it together. Especially meals that don't leave you with as much guilt as a double cheeseburger.
