I don't know why I didn't get this cookbooklet sooner! There are so many wonderful recipes and tips for soups and stews..and not all for the colder months! I can't wait until it warms up and try the Strawberry Soup!

I found this little cookbook in a small country store and bought it on a whim. I'm so glad I did! I like the variety of recipes, but mostly I like that the recipes don't usually call for ingredients that I wouldn't normally have on hand.

I made the Corn Chowder for a friend who just had a baby. It turned out so good and it was so easy to make that I made it for my family last night. Everyone loved it and we had it for lunch today - it's one of those soups that are even better the next day! I'm going to make the Baked Potato Soup this weekend - it sounds heavenly with the toppings!

If you've have even one Gooseberry cookbook, you know the recipes are going to be great. This one is no exception but the tips are especially handy too. Add-ins for soups, tips about broth-making, ideas for giving a big pot of soup as a gift...even little tags in the back. Hard to believe you get all that for 4.95!
