I couldn’t wait to start browsing through this cookbook! Just the cover alone looked promising because it gave the homecooked, heartwarming feel that I was looking for. My family loves to eat but prefers the more simple, feel-good type dishes that my Mom used to make – casseroles, soups, chilis, desserts – and this cookbook had all that plus more. The Keepsake Cookbook is a binder-type book that’s divided into 9 sections with a handy index in the back that lists the various recipes by meal type. There’s also complete menu suggestions (from appetizers to desserts) which includes recipes that go well together. This is a great tool for those who need a little help with meal planning. This hard covered recipe book is a must-have for all kitchens and will serve as a tool and treasured keepsake for generations to come. Personally, I have a lot of recipes that were handed down from my Grandma and I can’t wait to share them with my daughters and their future families. The Gooseberry Patch Keepsake Cookbook will ensure that these priceless meals will be kept safe until that day comes.
