This book is a must for anyone who gives kitchen gifts for any occasion. (I suggest buying Merry Mixes as well.) I have used these books over and over for their wonderful kitchen gift ideas. In Gifts from the Kitchen, I've tried Chill-Chaser Chili, Red Raspberry Vinegar, Mulling Spice Bags and Mom's Hot Chocolate. I adapted that hot chocolate recipe to produce a mix I like even better, and I make batch after batch of it every Christmas. People bring the jars back for me to refill! This book also contains many wonderful ideas for gift packaging and containers. I have made dozens of the fabric bags from this book. A great resource!
