This cookbook was my first purchase from Gooseberry Patch. I am 200% satisfied. There were many great dishes to choose from that would feed my picky eaters. These dishes used ingredients that I already had on hand and provided new ideas. I am picking up another one for my new daughter-in-law's stocking stuffer.

I have several (at least 10) Gooseberry Patch cookbooks, and this one quickly became my new favorite. I love making recipes from this book. They are new to me, but have the taste of old-time goodness. I also love having recipes to feed a crowd...with a growing family and a busy social life, this cookbook is very useful. It would also make a great gift!

There are a lot of really good recipes in this cookbook and they are easy to make and good-tasting. I would highly recommend this book if you are looking to add some new recipes or some old favorites to your collection

My husband purchased this cookbook for my birthday last year. I have used several of the recipes in it, and have really enjoyed all of them. The recipes are easy to follow and really lend themselves to "experimenting." I make notes for myself to try the recipe a little differently next time, and it has really worked out fine. I use the cookbook a lot, and am glad my husband got it for me.

This cookbook has many great ideas for dinner,church socials, and many other things. I really enjoyed this cookbook because it reminded me of going to church with my grandma and coming to her house for the family to meet for a very tasty dinner.

I have been collecting Gooseberry Cookbooks for over 10 years now! I love every one of them but when I saw Church Suppers I fell in love with it. The cover is beautiful! I love church potlucks outside under the big oak trees and this book is perfect. The tips on Lady's Luncheons and Summertime Socials are amazing. It brings back so many memories of bringing families and friends together! Thank you

I was thrilled to find a recipe that I have lost over the years that my Nan had given to me; she has taught so much about cooking, I feel her presence in the kitchen always (peach cheese cake abosolutely delicious!)
