This is one of my favorites of about 9 that I have. The recipes wonderful and the tips on the bottom of each page are so down home and fun. Gooseberry, you rock!

The first time a bought one of your books was at a yard sale then a thrift store. And I believe I have 3 total. Luv all of them!!!!

This was my first Christmas Gooseberry Patch cookbook, and it's still my favorite after all these years. It contains one of my favorite bar recipes of all time, Chocolate Crunch Brownies. I always keep a jar of marshmallow cream in my cupboard just in case I'm craving some. Also, the appetizer section, Making Spirits Bright, has some of the best recipes I've ever seen. If you don't have this cookbook, you must add it to your collection.

I have been cooking the recipes in this book for the last two weeks and love it! I am having company for a few days and have all my meals and desserts planned and baking almost done. My Christmas has been more fun because of this cookbook!

My collection of Gooseberry Patch cookbooks are always on my bookshelf, but "Comfort & Joy" is a cookbook that becomes part of my kitchen holiday decorations every year, just as the "Pounds of Fudge" recipe is a favorite of mine to make and give to others. The meal recipes are cozy and scrumptious, the templates and gift ideas are so helpful, and the book itself is an inspiration....So, wrap yourself in comfort and bake up a little joy for you and yours when you buy this book...you won't regret it!
