The Start of it All

This was my first Gooseberry Patch cookbook. I was so impressed with it that I bought a copy as a gift for my sister. I have since purchased 2 copies of every Gooseberry Patch cookbook. One for me and one for my sister. There is nothing more comforting on a dreary day than a cup of hot tea and a good book!

An Old Friend

My sister purchased this cookbook for me many years ago. It is filled with great recipes, sweet memories and traditions. I often pull it out to refer to a recipe or just to read it, as it takes me to my favorite time of year. It is like visiting with an old friend.

Welcome Home For The Holidays

I own many, many cookbooks and this is the one I use most often. I have tried everything from the Skiers French Toast to Liz Martin's Marvelous Minestrone (Martin was my maiden name :-) and this morning I again made my brother's Raisin Apple Harvest Cake on page 56. My sister and I think he has baked this over 200 times. He seems to always have this cake on hand. I even bake it into large muffins. It's a fun book just to sit and read in your spare time. When you printed WHFTH, you printed a winner. This book makes a wonderful Christmas gift. When wrapping, tie a little bag of vanilla coffee (page 195) around your gift bow. I love your cookbooks and just reading them puts me in the holiday spirit. We are having 14 over for Thanksgiving and believe me, I will be using this cookbook alot... Most Sincerely, Judy
