1-1/3 lb. beef flank steak
2 T. low-sodium soy sauce
2 T. honey
2 T. white vinegar
1-1/2 T. ground ginger
1-1/2 t. garlic powder
1-1/2 t. cinnamon
1-1/2 t. nutmeg
1/4 c. oil
1 onion, chopped
Using a sharp knife, make shallow cuts in steak; set aside. Mix remaining ingredients together in a large plastic zipping bag; add steak. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours, turning several times. Remove from marinade. Grill or broil for 5 to 10 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Slice thinly on an angle to serve. Makes 6 servings.
