8-1/4 oz. pkg. chocolate fudge cake mix 1 c. evaporated milk, divided 3/4 c. butter, softened 14-oz. pkg. caramels, unwrapped 1-1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1-1/2 c. chopped pecans
Stir together dry cake mix, 2/3 cup evaporated milk and butter until moistened. Spread half the batter in a greased 13"x9" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes; cool. Combine caramels and remaining evaporated milk in a small saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until caramels are melted. Sprinkle brownies with chocolate chips; drizzle with caramel mixture. Top with pecans. Spread remaining batter over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.
