20-oz. plus 8-oz. cans pineapple chunks, juice reserved
29-oz. can sliced peaches, drained
29-oz. can pear halves, quartered and drained
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. butter
2 3-inch cinnamon sticks
1/2 t. ground ginger

Combine pineapple, peaches and pears; spoon into a 3-1/2 quart baking dish. Blend together brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, ginger and reserved pineapple juice in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes; discard cinnamon sticks. Pour over fruit and bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
