2 c. all-purpose flour 1 c. sugar 2 t. baking powder 1/2 t. salt 2 c. cranberries 1 c. milk 3 T. butter
Butter Sauce: 1/2 c. butter, melted 3/4 c. heavy cream 1 c. sugar
Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add cranberries, milk and 3 tablespoons butter; mix well. Pour into a greased 8"x8" baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. For Butter Sauce: In a saucepan, combine butter, cream and sugar; bring to a boil for one minute. Pour Butter Sauce over warm cake. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
