2 T. butter 1 onion, finely chopped 2 T. green pepper, minced 1 clove garlic, pressed 3/4 c. catsup 1/4 c. cider vinegar 1/4 c. dark brown sugar, packed 1/4 t. dry mustard 1/8 t. hot pepper sauce
Combine butter, onion, green pepper and garlic in a microwave-safe casserole dish. Microwave, uncovered, on medium-low for 2-3 minutes. Still in remaining ingredients. Cover and microwave on 3/4 power for 2 minute intervals until mixture is bubbly. Serve sauce with barbecue beef brisket. Makes 8 to 12 servings.
