1 lb. hot dogs, sliced 1/4-inch thick 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 2 eggs, hard-boiled, peeled and chopped 2 to 3 green onions, diced 3 T. chili sauce 2 T. pickle relish 1 t. mustard 1/2 t. garlic salt 8 hot dog buns, split
Mix together all ingredients except buns. Hollow out bun tops by pulling out a little of the bread; fill buns with hot dog mixture. Wrap each bun in aluminum foil. Place on a baking sheet and bake at
350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, until heated through. Buns may also be warmed on a campfire grate for 10 to 12 minutes, turning often so they don’t burn. Makes 8 servings.
