3 carrots, peeled and thickly sliced 3-lb. flat-cut corned beef brisket with seasoning packet 1 c. low-sodium beef broth 1/2 to 1 head cabbage, cut into wedges
Arrange carrots in the bottom of a slow cooker; place corned beef on top. Sprinkle with one-quarter of seasoning packet contents; discard rest of seasoning. Pour broth over all. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours, or on high setting for 5 to 6 hours. Add cabbage wedges, pushing down to moisten. Cover; cook on high setting for
an additional 2 to 3 hours. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
