12 to 16 thick slices Italian bread 1 c. shredded mozzarella cheese, divided 1 c. cooked ham, diced and divided 2 c. asparagus, chopped and divided 6 eggs 1 c. milk 2 T. lemon juice 1/4 t. garlic powder
Spray an 8"x8" microwave-safe baking dish with non-stick vegetable spray. Arrange half of bread in dish; sprinkle with half each of cheese, ham and asparagus. Repeat layering with remaining cheese, ham and asparagus. Blend together remaining ingredients; pour over top. Cover with plastic wrap; microwave on high for 5 minutes. Rotate dish
1/4 turn; microwave on medium for an additional 10 to 12 minutes, rotating dish occasionally, until knife inserted at center comes out clean. Serves 4 to 6.
