1/2 c. butter, softened 1 c. sugar 1 egg, beaten 1 c. applesauce 1 t. cinnamon 1/2 t. ground cloves 1 t. baking soda 1/4 t. salt 2 c. all-purpose flour 1 c. raisins
Combine all ingredients; stir until moistened. Fill lightly greased muffin cups 3/4 full; sprinkle with Crumb Topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Makes 12 to 16 muffins.
Crumb Topping:
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. quick-cooking oats, uncooked
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 t. cinnamon
Blend all ingredients until crumbly.
