14-oz. can sweetened condensed milk 2 t. vanilla extract 1 t. almond extract 2 7-oz. pkgs sweetened flaked coconut 48 milk chocolate drops or stars
In a large bowl combine condensed milk and extracts. Stir in coconut. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto parchment paper-lined baking sheets. Slightly flatten with a spoon. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 to 17 minutes, until golden. Remove from oven; press a chocolate into centers of macaroons. Remove from baking sheets onto a wire rack; cool completely. Store loosely covered at room temperature. Makes 4 dozen.
