3-1/2 c. apples, cored, peeled and thinly sliced 1-1/4 c. strawberries, hulled and sliced 1 T. lemon juice 1/4 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 c. plus 1/2 t. sugar, divided 2 9-inch pie crusts 1/8 t. cinnamon
Combine apples and strawberries in a bowl; drizzle with lemon juice. In a separate bowl, combine flour and 1/2 cup sugar; sprinkle over fruit mixture and toss lightly. Line a 9" pie plate with one pie crust; spoon in fruit mixture. Top with remaining crust; trim, seal and flute edges. Cut slits in top crust. Combine remaining sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over crust. Cover edges loosely with aluminum foil. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove foil; reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake an additional 35 to 40 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
