14-oz. pkg. smoked pork sausage, cut into rounds 2 c. cabbage, chopped, or shredded coleslaw mix 2 carrots, peeled and chopped 1 to 2 potatoes, peeled and diced 1 stalk celery, chopped 1/2 onion, diced 15-oz. can diced tomatoes 15-oz. can low-sodium chicken broth 1 c. cocktail vegetable juice or tomato juice
Combine all ingredients in a 4-quart slow cooker; do not drain tomatoes. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours on low setting, or on high setting for 3 to 4 hours. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
