I have many books and this one I still use more than others. When I get that early feeling for fall. I grab this one, fix some coffee or tea and start planning. (confession) I already have!

I love this cookbook so much I use it all year long! My family really likes to eat warm, comfort-food meals in every season,so Autumn in the Country stays on my kitchen counter. The recipes are easy, but taste fancy enough to serve at any fall time gathering of fiends and family. I especially like the "Mains" section and all the yummy breakfast dishes in this one. My favorite "Gooseberry!"

This was my first Gooseberry Patch cookbook. This book sparked my love of everything from the Gooseberry Patch. I've made a lot of the recipes included in here. One of my favorites is the Hearty Sausage soup. I've always liked cookbooks that are composed of normal, everyday peoples recipes. You won't have to go to a speciality market to find the ingredients. These recipes are tried and true. I've submitted recipes to cookbooks from church and whatnot and I would only submit my very favorite recipes, ones that I make often. I've got about 10 Gooseberry Patch cookbooks now and they are the first thing I go to when I don't know what to make for dinner.
