This book was one of the first GBP books I ever bought and just fell in love with it. The two most used and best loved recipes from this book are the Strawberry Bread and Chocolate Zucchini Bread. Once I started with these books I just couldn't stop.

I love this cook book because it has many traditional family meals...about a year ago I tried the Marvelous Meatloaf recipe and it has become my husbands favorite new meatloaf dish!!!!

for several years, i plan ALL my meals using my gooseberry patch cookbooks. i have so many of them and are proudly displayed in my kitchen. i love trying different recipes all the time. out of all my books, i seem to be in and out of this one quite often. i haven't made a recipe yet out of that book that wasn't welcomed! my books take a beating because i use them so much. every holiday, every season....everyday. they're awesome. both my daughters use to borrow my books quite often and now they both have their own book collection started. i have one grandaughter, calista, who helps me cook whenever she's with me....so of course now calista has two of her very own. i rarely am ever seen without a gooseberry patch book in my hand at work on a daily basis. they have been shared, borrowed, boughten for gifts, received as gifts. i have two "gooseberry patch sisters" and two "gooseberry patch neices" also. i love EVERYONE of my books but this one, and not purposely, is worn looking from being used the most. looking forward to every new book printed!!!
