I am a cookbook collector. There are hundreds in my kitchen. Every so often I pare the total down, but because I'm always on the lookout for new, exciting and different recipes, the cookbook population continues to grow. I bought "From Grandma's Kitchen" because I liked the name. When the book arrived, I glanced through it and thought, how quaint. I loved the little tips and pictures, and knew I'd have to try some of the recipes. Well, to my surprise and pleasure, this book has become "THE" most used cookbook I own. From the easy yet tasty desserts to the hearty soups, this book is a treasure. I've made the recipes for my grandkids, friends, family, our PTSO, for church functions and of course to take to sick friends. This is the one cookbook I always take up to camp when we go in the summer. I can't imagine trying to do without this book now. Thank you, Gooseberry Patch, for putting this wonderful compilation together.

This book was a wonderful addition to our cookbook collection! The recipes aren't too complicated and easy to make - yet please a crowd! Everyone will love every recipe coming from this book - since it really does taste like it's coming from their grandma's kitchen...

I got this cook book a couple of years back and have been NOTHING but pleased with it! It has such wonderful recipes..and lovely tips! I adore the GP cookbooks! They are so full of love and beauty! Such fun ideas too! This cookbook has wonderful and VERY tasty recipes in it! You can not go wrong with it..such easy directions to follow! Thank you Gooseberry Patch for blessing us with such lovely cookbooks! And thank you readers who send in those delicious recipes! Cant wait to try another!

I love this cookbook. I have made several recipes and have been pleased with each one. It always feels like my grandmothers are standing in the kitchen with me. It was the type of meals that I could expect when sitting at grandma's table.

For my daughters bridal shower and my Daughter in-law's bridal shower, I tucked this book in with their gifts. I have a copy myself and love all the down to earth recipes in it. What I especially love about all of the Gooseberry Patch cookbooks is that most of the ingredients I already have in my cupboard. I look forward to each and every cookbook that you come out with.
