I love all of my Gooseberry cookbooks but this is one of my favorites. My family always has so many repeat requests that are in this book. We have Sunday dinner as a family every week(13-15 of us) and these books have always helped me come up with a memorable Sunday dinner. These books are great for holiday to everyday meals. Thank you for gathering so many great receipes from people like me who enjoy cooking and family as much as I do!

It was very hard to pick a favorite GP cookbook to write about-I have 37 of them! But Blue Plate Specials is one that I can pick up and almost every recipe has items that I have in my kitchen on hand. It's not that the others have fancy items, because they don't, but this one is just super simple to cook out of. I think Gooseberry Patch cookbooks are the best of any others--but my shelves are getting full!!!:):):) Thank you so much for making wonderful, useable cookbooks that are down to earth and use common ingredients!
