I LOVE Homestyle in a Hurry!!! I bought my copy after buying one for my younger son's teacher last school year. It has an AMAZING collection of recipes, and I use it very often! Last night, I pulled two winners from the Speedy Sides & Salads Chapter - - - Speedy Spanish Rice was wonderfully easy to prepare and tasted SO delicious!!! So much healthier than a boxed rice side dish, and just as easy!!! I also prepared Delicious Dilled Carrots and that was heavenly . . . sweet and comforting!!! Both my husband and my two sons loved these sides, which went so well with the baked chicken I served. I'll be making these two side dishes often! This book is perfect for all busy cooks!

Homestyle in a Hurry is the type of cookbook that every home cook needs in his or her repertoire. All of the recipes are reminiscent of the comfort food we grew up eating as kids, and each has been submitted by real cooks just like you and me. And although each recipe takes about 30 minutes or less, they taste like you spent hours in the kitchen. Truth be told, we all have days when getting a meal together is a challenge because of TIME. This book offers lots of tasty recipes to assist you on those days! I will be referring to it again VERY soon!

What I love about your cookbooks is not only the recipes, but the stories that shared and helpful hints. All of my Gooseberry books are well used and read. "Homestyle in a Hurry" is another winner in my collection

Whenever possible when we travel we eat at a restaurant close to the interstate that also carries your cookbooks (Cracker Barrel). I try to buy at least one during our vaction, many times more than one. I love not only the recipes, but the notes at the bottom of the page as well. Not only are they informative, but full of decorating ideas as well. Thanks. Don't ever change a thing.
