20-oz pkg. bratwurst
5 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 tart apple, cored and cubed
1 onion, chopped
1/4 c. brown sugar
27-oz. can sauerkraut, drained
Brown bratwurst in a large skillet over medium heat; reserve drippings. Slice bratwurst into one-inch pieces; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a slow cooker. Stir in bratwurst slices with pan drippings. cover and cook on high setting for 4 to 6 hours, or until potatoes are tender. Serves 6.
