4 c. cooking apples, cored, peeled and sliced
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. quick-cooking oats, uncooked
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 t. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter, softened
Garnish: whipped topping, cinnamon
Arrange apple slices in a greased 11"x8" baking pan; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients; stir until crumbly and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve portions topped with a dollop of whipped topping and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Serves 8.
