16-oz. pkg. butter, melted and cooled
8 eggs, beaten
2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 t. vanilla extract
1 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
8-1/2 to 9 c. all-purpose flour
In a very large bowl, mix butter with eggs, sugars and vanilla. Stir in baking soda, salt and enough flour to make a stiff dough. Roll into walnut-size balls. Place in a preheated greased waffle iron and bake about 2 minutes, or until golden. Makes 8 dozen.
