1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 t. vanilla extract
1 egg
1 c. plus 2 T. all-purpose flour
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
6-oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
In a large bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until creamy. Beat in vanilla and the egg. Mix in flour, baking soda and salt. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Divide dough in half and spread into two greased, heart-shaped pans. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely. Makes two big cookies.
