1 lb. ground turkey 1 T. butter 1 onion, chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 green pepper, chopped 1. 35-oz. pkg. onion soup mix 16-oz. can navy beans, drained and rinsed 16-oz. can kidney beans, drained and rinsed 28-oz. can crushed tomatoes 28-oz. can diced tomatoes, drained 1 T. dried parsley 1 T. dried basil 8 c. water salt and pepper to taste 1 c. small pasta shells, uncooked
In a stockpot over medium heat, brown turkey; drain
and set aside. In the same pot, melt butter over
medium heat; sauté onion, garlic and green pepper
until tender. Add remaining ingredients except pasta
and bring to a boil. Stir in pasta. Simmer, uncovered,
over medium heat for 10 minutes, or until pasta is
tender. Serves 8. | |
