1-1/2 lbs. beef top round steak, cut into serving-size pieces
salt and pepper to taste
4 T. butter, sliced
4 T. Worcestershire sauce
4 potatoes, peeled and thickly sliced
1 onion, sliced and separated into rings
5 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 green pepper, cut into rings
Season steak on all sides with salt and pepper. Arrange in a lightly greased 13"x9" baking pan. Dot with butter; drizzle Worcestershire sauce over steak. Arrange vegetables on top. Cover with heavy aluminum foil. Bake
at 350 degrees for 1-1/4 hours. Remove foil; bake another 15 minutes, or until steak is browned. Makes 6 servings.
