1 bunch broccoli, finely chopped 1 onion, finely chopped 1 c. celery, finely chopped 1/2 c. raisins, finely chopped 1/2 to 1 lb. bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled 1/4 c. mayonnaise 1/4 c. sugar 2 T. vinegar 1-1/2 t. mustard 1 c. shredded Colby cheese
In a large bowl, combine broccoli, onion, celery, raisins and bacon; toss to mix and set aside. In a separate small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar and mustard. Pour mayonnaise mixture over broccoli mixture; stir gently. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours to overnight. Top with cheese just before serving. Serves 6 to 8. | |
