1/4 c. sugar or honey
4 t. cornstarch
1/2 t. cinnamon
1 c. apple cider or apple juice
1 T. lemon juice
2 T. butter
In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir together sugar or honey, cornstarch and cinnamon. Add apple juice and lemon juice; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat; add butter and stir until melted. Syrup will thicken as it cools. Serves 4.
