2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
1 c. all-purpose flour
salt and pepper to taste
1 lb. bacon
1/2 c. shortening
Garnish: ranch salad dressing
Whisk together eggs and milk in a shallow bowl; set aside. Blend flour, salt and pepper in a separate bowl. Dip each slice of bacon into egg mixture; roll in seasoned flour. Melt shortening in a skillet over medium heat. Add bacon, a few slices at a time. Cook until crisp and golden; drain. Serve with ranch dressing. Serves 8 to 10.
