1/4 c. butter
4 to 6 sweet onions, thinly sliced
1/4 c. light or regular sour cream
1/2 c. buttery round crackers, crushed
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent. Remove from heat; stir in sour cream. Transfer mixture to a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle crushed crackers on top.
Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes, until bubbly and lightly golden. Serves 4 to 6.
