Spider Pizza

1 env. active dry yeast
1 c. warm water
1 t. sugar
1-1/2 t. salt
2 T. oil
2 c. all-purpose flour
28-oz. can crushed tomatoes
1 T. dried oregano
1 t. dried basil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
6-oz. can whole black olives, drained


Dissolve yeast in very warm water, about 110 to 115 degrees; stir in sugar, salt and oil. Stir in flour; let rise for 30 to 40 minutes. Spread dough out on a greased 12" pizza pan; set aside. Combine tomatoes, oregano, basil and garlic; spread over dough. Sprinkle with cheese; set aside. To make spider bodies, slice half the olives lengthwise; arrange on the sauce mixture. Cut remaining olives in 8 lengthwise slices; arrange 4 slices on each side of each half to make a spider with legs. Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 4 servings
