Country-Style Skillet Apples

3 T. butter
3 T. sugar
1/2 t. cinnamon
2 T. cornstarch
1 c. water
4 Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored an sliced


Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch; mix well and stir in water. Add apple slices. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 10 minutes. Makes 6 servings.

Nutrition Per Serving: 135 calories, 6g total fat, 4g sat fat, 15mg cholesterol, 1mg sodium, 22g carbohydrate, 3g fiber, 0g protein
