5 c. water
5-oz. pkg. chicken & wild rice mix, uncooked
3 c. broccoli, finely chopped
2 carrots, peeled and cut into strips with peeler
1 T. onion, minced
10-3/4 oz. can cream of chicken soup
8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened and cubed
In a large pot over medium heat, combine water, rice mix and broccoli. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; stir well. Cover and continue cooking for about 10 minutes, until rice is tender. Let stand about 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Makes 15 servings.
