2 c. all-purpose flour 1/3 c. sugar 1/4 t. salt 1-1/2 t. baking powder 1/2 t. baking soda 6 T. butter 2/3 c. sweetened dried cranberries 1/2 c. buttermilk 1 egg, beaten 1-1/2 t. vanilla extract
Stir together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and baking soda; cut in butter with a pastry blender. Stir in cranberries. In a separate bowl, combine buttermilk, egg and vanilla; mix into flour mixture until just moistened. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes, or until golden. Makes 10. | |
