8 whole-wheat hot dog buns, split
mayonnaise to taste
Optional: mustard, sweet pickle relish to taste
8 hot dogs
2 15-oz. cans favorite chili
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 onion, finely chopped
Spread the inside of each hot dog bun with mayonnaise. Add a stripe of mustard and a dollop of relish, if desired. Fill buns with hot dogs. Arrange in an aluminum foil-lined 13"x9" baking pan. Top hot dogs evenly with chili, cheese and onion. Cover with more foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
