2 21-oz. cans cherry pie filling
18-1/2 oz. pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. butter, melted
Optional: 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Garnish: vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
Spray a 3 to 4-quart slow cooker with non-stick vegetable spray. Add
pie filling to slow cooker; set aside. Stir together dry cake mix and butter
in a bowl; mixture will be crumbly. Sprinkle over filling. Sprinkle with
walnuts, if desired. Cover and cook on low setting for 2 to 3 hours. To
serve, spoon into bowls; top with ice cream or whipped cream. Makes
8 servings.
