1 qt. apples, peeled and cubed
1-1/4 c. brown sugar, packed and divided
1/4 c. water
2 t. cinnamon
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 t. salt
1/3 c. butter, melted
Place apples in a buttered 9”x9” baking dish. Add 3/4 cup brown sugar, water and cinnamon. In a mixing bowl, blend together flour, remaining brown sugar, salt and butter to make crumbs. Spread crumbs evenly over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
