1/2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar, divided
3/4 t. baking powder
1/3 c. milk
1 T. oil
1/2 t. vanilla extract
1/4 c. creamy peanut butter
3 T. baking cocoa
1 c. boiling water
In a large bowl, combine flour, 1⁄4 cup sugar and baking powder. Add milk, oil and vanilla; mix until smooth. Stir in peanut butter; pour into a lightly greased slow cooker and set aside. Mix together cocoa and remaining sugar; gradually stir in boiling water. Pour mixture over batter in slow cooker; do not stir. Cover and cook on high setting 2 to 3 hours, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serves 6.
