3 T. butter, melted 6 T. brown sugar, packed 2-1/2 t. dry mustard, divided 1/8 t. ground cloves 4 slices pineapple 1 lb. ground ham 1/2 lb. ground pork 3/4 c. bread crumbs 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 c. milk
In a mixing bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard and cloves; blending well until brown sugar and mustard have dissolved. Pour mixture in a 9"x4" glass loaf pan, turning to coat the bottom. Lay pineapple slices in bottom; set aside. Blend ham, pork, bread crumbs, eggs, milk and remaining mustard. Shape into a loaf and place over pineapple slices. Bake at 350 degrees for one to 1-1/2 hours. | |
