Submitted by: Carol Hickman from Kingsport, TN
12 buttermilk biscuits, baked and split 3 to 4 slices baked spiral ham 3 to 4 slices Baby Swiss or provolone cheese 1/4 c. butter, melted 1/3 c. honey
Arrange bottom halves of biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet; set aside. Cut ham and cheese into biscuit-size pieces. Top biscuit bottoms with a slice of ham, a slice of cheese and tops of biscuits. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter and honey. Spread butter mixture lightly over tops of biscuits. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 8 minutes, or just until biscuits are golden and cheese has melted. Remove from oven. Let cool in pan for a few minutes before removing, so glaze can set up. Serve warm. Makes 12 sliders. | |
