1 c. sugar
2 T. baking cocoa
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. milk
1/2 t. vanilla extract
1/4 c. creamy peanut butter
1-1/2 c. quick-cooking oatmeal, uncooked
1/4 c. toasted wheat germ
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, cocoa, margarine and milk; stir constantly until sugar is melted. Remove from heat and add vanilla and peanut butter; stir until peanut butter is melted. Add oatmeal and wheat germ; combine until oatmeal is well coated. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto wax paper and cool in refrigerator. Makes 2 dozen cookies.
