5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded thin
salt & pepper to taste
1 T. fresh chives, chopped
10 thin slices cooked ham
10 slices American cheese
10 slices bacon
10-3/4 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. whipping cream
Garnish: fresh chives, chopped
Sprinkle each chicken breast with salt and pepper to taste; top with chives. Place 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese on each chicken breast roll up each breast. Wrap 2 slices of bacon around each roll secure with wooden toothpicks. Place in a lightly greased 13”x 9” baking pan; bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Heat mushroom soup and cream in a heavy saucepan over medium heat until smooth and heated through, stirring constantly. To serve ladle, sauce over chicken breast; garnish with chives. Serves 5.
