12-oz. pkg. pound cake, cubed
21-oz. can cherry pie filling
1/3 c. water
1/2 t. almond extract
2 T. slivered almonds, toasted
Arrange pound cake in a microwave-safe dish; set aside. Combine cherry pie filling, water and almond extract in a small bowl. Spoon over cubed pound cake; sprinkle with almonds. Cover with plastic wrap; microwave on high setting for 5 to 7 minutes, or until filling is bubbly. Serve immediately. Makes 8 servings.
