10-oz. tube refrigerated flaky biscuits
8-oz. pkg. Cheddar cheese, sliced into 10 cubes
1 T. milk
1 t. poppy seed
Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Open a small pocket in the side of each biscuit; tuck a cheese cube into each pocket. Press dough
together to seal well. Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet. Cut a deep “X” in the top of each biscuit. Brush with milk and sprinkle with poppy seed. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden. Serve warm. Makes 10.
