6 bacon slices, crisply cooked, crumbled and drippings reserved
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1/4 c. onion, chopped
2 T. all-purpose flour
2 T. brown sugar, packed
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1/8 t. dry mustard
16 oz. can peeled whole tomatoes, cut into fourths
16 oz. can green beans, drained
In skillet with bacon drippings, sauté green pepper and onion until tender. Blend together next 6 ingredients; stir into skillet. Add tomatoes and continue to stir until mixture thickens. Add green beans and heat through; sprinkle with crumbled bacon. Serves 6.
